November of 2003, Outside the Lines Art Gallery was born from a vision by two very artistic and motivated women, Connie Twining and Stormy Mochal. You can find Stormy's work for sale at both locations.

In 2014, Abby Schrup was hired to join the family. You will find either Stormy, Connie, or Abby behind the counter and sometimes Eddie, our official gallery dog!

Located on Upper Main Street in Downtown Dubuque, Iowa, and in historic Downtown Galena, IL, both locations feature original creations from over 160 US artists, many who are from Dubuque and the tri-state area.

The mission of our gallery is to offer high quality handmade items at affordable prices.

We know all of our artists personally which enables us to accurately describe their processes and products. We also pride ourselves on our great customer service at Outside the Lines.

In addition to the beautiful gallery spaces, Outside the Lines offers in-home and on-site corporate design consultations and installations.
