Gina Wells Clayton, NY • Copper and Brass Jewelry

I am happy to offer unique and beautiful jewelry. I use only the best materials to ensure the longevity and durability of my pieces.

Light-weight, stylish, and distinctive, this jewelry requires little care and inspires compliments every time it is worn.

The copper and brass patina jewelry line includes cuffs, necklaces, earrings, barrettes, and pins.

All of my products begin from copper and brass sheet and wire. The pieces are designed and fabricated in northern New York by my family and me. We cut, file, sand, drill, solder, decorate and patina everything at our studio.

The figures decorating the pieces are formed out of wire, sandwiched between two sheets of metal, and put through a rolling mill. This impresses the figure into the metal.

The item is then put through the patina process, which adds color. Part of the patina is then cleared away, highlighting the figure and covered with a protective coating. The jewelry is coated with a tough lacquer. The finish is durable and long-lasting.
